Summary

An earthwork cut feature with outer earthwork spoil heap of a possible post-medieval to modern mine shaft are visible on aerial photographs to the southwest of Milton Green. The earthworks were recorded as part of the Tamar Valley NMP project.

An earthwork cut feature with outer earthwork spoil heap interpreted as a possible mine shaft or bomb crater are visible on aerial photographs.

At approximately 38m in diameter, the earthworks are unlikely to represent a bomb crater, and so may more likely be of industrial origin. Only part of the photo reference is given in the transcription attributes, so the date of the photograph is not known.
