Summary

A quarry of likely post-medieval to modern date is visible as an earthwork cut feature on aerial photographs, to the south of Short Burn Farm. The quarry was recorded as part of the Tamar Valley NMP project.

An earthwork cut feature interpreted as a post-medieval quarry is visible on aerial photographs.

There does not seem to be a NMP database record for this quarry, or indeed the other three quarries located within the vicinity. There is a database record for a pond located in close proximity, and it is possible this was created to also include these quarries. The quarries, which have now been recorded as individual monuments, may also be of potential modern date. In addition, only part of the photo reference is given in the transcription attributes, so the date of the photograph is not known.
