Summary

Three quarries of possible post-medieval to modern date are visible as earthwork cut features on aerial photographs, to the southwest of Pitland Corner. The earthworks were recorded as part of the Tamar Valley NMP project.

Three earthwork cut features visible on aerial photographs have been interpreted as quarries of unknown date. The southern earthwork corresponds to a database record of a quarry and the other two to the north are also likely to be part of this record.
