Earthwork bank and ditched features visible on aerial photographs have been interpreted as forming part of a field system of unknown, but potential medieval, date.

Some of the earthworks may be associated with the shrunken settlement of Chaddlehanger (MDV3857). Only part of the photo reference is given in the transcription attributes, so the date of the photograph is not known.
