Full description

Cornwall Archaeological Unit, 2001-2002, Tamar Valley National Mapping Programme Transcriptions and Database Records, F21/58/2775/105 (Interpretation). SDV346287.

A circular hollow, approximately 15 metres in diameter and transcribed from cropmarks on aerial photograph F21/58/2775/105, has been interpreted as a military feature of unknown date. Circa 125 metres to the south a cut feature of similar size has been transcribed from the same photograph.

Only part of the photo reference is given in the transcription attributes, so the date of the photograph is not known. To the south-west MDV81019 records an aircraft crashed at Posham Farm in 1941, although there is no detail on the transcription attributes to link it to the circular features.
