Earthwork cut features interpreted as post-medieval shafts associated with Lady Bertha Mine are visible on aerial photographs.

Hegarty, C., Knight, S. and Sims, R., 2016, Backlog Recording of the Tamar Valley National Mapping Programme Survey (Personal Comment). SDV359374.

The NMP database record for these earthworks originally included three earthwork cut features of possible shafts. The western of these was clearly associated with a pumping wheel and so was recorded independently as MDV79890. The remaining two features occur in close proximity to, and possibly associated with, a shaft (MDV79891) depicted here on historic maps.
