Summary

Field boundaries of unknown, but potential medieval, date are visible as cropmark ditches and a bank on aerial photographs, to south of Venton Farm. The cropmarks were recorded as part of the Tamar Valley NMP project.

Cornwall Archaeological Unit, 2001-2002, Tamar Valley National Mapping Programme Transcriptions and Database Records, OS 84/234/248-9; RAF/106G/1190/F20/3199-3200 (Interpretation). SDV346287.

A number of groups of cropmark ditches and a bank have been transcribed from photographs OS 84/234/248-9 and RAF/106G/1190/F20/3199-3200. The central group corresponds to a database record of a medieval field system visible as cropmark ditches, and the other transcriptions are also likely to be part of this record.
