There was formerly a chapel at Bradfield which has been demolished.

Site visit 27th November 1953. Site of a 14th century chapel within a grass-covered garden.
In 1332 John Walrond was granted a license his chapel at Bradfield of which there are no remains. It is suggested to have stood between the large clipped yews on the north side of house. Part of gardens was lately known by name of Chapel Field (Lysons 1822, Oliver 1846, Anon in TDA 1931, Country Life Vols 14 and 15).
