This small square building adjacent to the road at 'Monrovia' served as a small butcher's shop in the mid-20th century; the outhouses at the rear of the cottages were used as an abattoir. Used in modern times as a garage.

The building is visible for the first time on the aerial photograph.

From around the 1950s onwards, this building was used as a butcher's shop. The outhouses at the rear of Monrovia served as an abattoir.
