A quarry is depicted in close proximity to the north.

An extraction pit of likely post-medieval to modern date is visible as an earthwork pit on Lidar-derived images captured between 1998-2014, to the southeast of Ley Farm. The triangular shaped earthwork measures approximately 20m in length by 11m in width and is situated at the apex of two converging field boundaries. A quarry is depicted in close proximity to the north on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map. The earthwork is largely obscured by tree cover on aerial photographs made available to the survey.
