An earthwork pit of a possible post-medieval to modern clay pit is visible on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, at Courtmoor Farm. The sub-circular shaped earthwork measures approximately 23m in diameter and is located in an area where other similar such features have been recorded as part of this survey. Clay pits are also depicted in close proximity here on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map. The earthwork pit is visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2014.
