Possible extraction pits of post-medieval to modern date are visible as earthwork pits on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, to the southeast of Livenhayes Farm. The two irregular shaped earthworks are sited either side of an historic field boundary andremain visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2010. The nature of the earthworks recorded here, however, also closely resemble a natural hollow and so have been accordingly double-indexed as such.
