29-39 Pound Street: not listed
Built seventy years later than the houses in Fore Street in an entirely more rustic, quite Arts and Crafts style, are these estate-workers cottages in Pound Street. In a co-ordinated terrace of six, they were built by Lord Hambleden in 1914 (also following a fire), and are characteristic of the style he adopted for all kinds of buildings around his Moretonhampstead estate.
