Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
Dwelling depicted on the Tithe Map at the farm is clearly a previous farmhouse, as it is an entirely different shape.

The late 19th century historic map shows the large square farmhouse, much as it is in modern times.

Town Barton – Unlisted
The balanced 19th century farmhouse has PVCu windows and concrete roof tiles that seriously dilute its historic appearance; but it is prominently located, closing views from the east.
