An earthwork pit of a probable post-medieval to 19th century clay pit is visible on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, to the northeast of Harvest Wood. The oval shaped feature measures approximately 31m in length by 24m in width and is located in close proximity to a number of other clay pits depicted here on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map. The clay pit remains visible as an earthwork on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016.
