A possible former field boundary of potential medieval or post-medieval date is visible as an earthwork banked feature on aerial photographs of 1982 onwards on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the east of Higher Phillishayes. The L-shaped earthwork is northeast to southwest and northwest to southeast aligned and appears to form part of a rectilinear shaped field on the Parish Tithe Map, possibly of a former orchard, although appears to have passed out of use by this time. Other earthwork banks of former field boundaries are also visible on these aerial photographs, although since they are depicted on the Tithe Map, were not transcribed as part of this survey.
