Earthwork banks of probable post-medieval to 19th century date are visible on aerial photographs of 2000 and 2014, at Charleshayes Farm. The earthworks are north to south and east to west aligned and occupy an area of approximately 1.43 hectares of moderate southeast facing slope. They may represent the remains of agricultural improvement or represent the site of a former orchard, the banks providing improved drainage and increased soil depth for the fruit trees. The earthwork banks are not clearly visible on aerial photographs before 2000, so may also conceivable be of modern date.
