A possible water meadow system of 19th century date is visible as a series of earthwork ditches on aerial photographs of 1947, at Ullcombe Farm, with which it was possibly associated. The earthworks comprise a series of partial northeast to southwest aligned ditches which are parallel to the gentle southeast facing slope. A series of more extensive northwest to southeast aligned drains bisecting these ditches are also visible and possibly served to feed the system by diverting the flow of water from further uphill at Ullcombe Farm. The system occupies an area of approximately 2.21 hectares. Earthworks remain visible on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016.
