Full description
Dean, R., 15/07/2015, Westwood, Land adjoining Junction 27, M5, Devon (Report - Geophysical Survey). SDV359560.
This report was commissioned by Mills Whipp Projects Ltd on behalf of Friends Life Ltd in order to help establish the cultural heritage and archaeological implications of a proposal for a construction project.
Geophysical survey identified an anomaly group likely to represent linear deposits that are usually associated with field and enclosure boundaries of unknown archaeological provenance. Area 6A contains a greater concentration of potential archaeological deposits than the other fields. Given their various orientations, it is possible that more than one phase of past enclosures are represented
by these anomaly groups.
