The earthwork bank corresponds with a depicted field boundary.

A curvilinear earthwork bank up to 5 metres wide and almost 50 metres long was visible on aerial photographs of 1982 to the north-west of Wick Farm, Luppitt Parish. The earthwork corresponds to a former field boundary of possible medieval origin depicted enclosing an orchard on the Tithe Map for Luppitt.The boundary was not marked on the Ordnance Survey 25 inch First Edition map and was therefore removed between circa 1840 and circa 1880.
