The s front retains 2 stone mullioned windows of 4-lights and 6-lights, with drip moulds and an original stone door surround with lintel inscribed john parris 1621. Early historical information on the building was not obtained by local enquiry (nmr citing os).

Visited 4th June 2000 by John Thorp. U shaped farmhouse with late medieval origins, and later alterations from 1621 and 18th century. Interesting 17th century front door to through passage with moulded frame and spandrels under flat roofed porch, probably early 19th century. Hipped at left end and gabled to right with red pantile roof and roughcast elevations. In good condition.
