A possible field boundary of uncertain date is visible on aerial photographs of 1948 onwards, to the northeast of Burcombe Farm. The curvilinear earthwork is located at the base of gentle northwest facing slope and closely respects and utilises a natural scarp here. Interestingly, the line of the earthwork is largely depicted here on the 2016 Ordnance Survey Mastermap, although it is unclear what the line depicts. The earthwork remains visible as an earthwork banked feature on aerial photographs of 1971. A similar such bank, but linear in form, is located approximately 120m to the east.
