Orchard banks of probable post-medieval to 19th century date are visible as a series of linear earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1989, at Dunsgreen. An orchard is depicted here on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s, although by 1950, aerial photographs show that the orchard trees have partly grubbed up, although the orchard banks, on which the fruit trees were established, are not clearly visible. Aerial photographs of 1989, however, show that the orchard has been completely cleared, exposing a series of east to west aligned earthwork banks. These banks occupy an area of approximately 0.15 hectares of gentle northwest facing slope. The orchard banks are not clearly visible on aerial photographs after 1989 and their survival is uncertain.
