The corner of the field is depicted as scrub.

An irregular earthwork pit, circa 16 by 35 metres, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. This corner of the field is depicted as scrubland on the late-19th century OS mapping and an ‘Old Clay Pit’ is marked and depicted 75 metres to the west. The pit may therefore be the remains of post-medieval clay extraction that ceased by the mid-19th century.
