Possible former field boundaries of medieval to post-medieval date are visible on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2008, to the east of Tanhouse Farm. The two short parallel earthworks are northeast to southwest aligned and are located on moderate southwest facing slope. The northern of the two boundaries appears to be depicted on the Parish Tithe Map of approximately 1838-48, although that to the south has evidently passed out of use by this time. The earthworks are not clearly visible on aerial photographs or other digital images made available to the survey.
