The extraction pit is visible as an earthwork pit.

An extraction pit of possible post-medieval to 19th century date is visible as an earthwork pit on lidar-derived images of 2008, to the west of Rosemary Lane. The earthwork is sub-oval in shape, measures approximately 34m in length by 22m in width and is located in an area where other similar features have been recorded as part of this survey. The earthwork was not clearly visible on other images made available to the survey.
