Two conjoined perpendicular linear earthwork banks, up to 4.5 metres in width, were visible on aerial photographs taken from 1982 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. Its straight alignment suggests a post-medieval origin, and it is not depicted on the available historic mapping, so is interpreted as a relict field boundary, which fell out of use prior to the mid-19th century.
