A curvilinear pale cropmark, circa 2 metres in width, is visible on aerial photographs taken between 1999 and 2010. It does not seem to completely fit into the field system depicted on the Tithe map, but at its south it terminates at a kink in the extant field boundary and it is on the same alignment as the curvilinear field boundaries to the north in an area characterised as based on medieval strip fields. It is interpreted as having formed over the remains of a medieval field boundary bank that fell out of use prior to the mid-19th century.
