A curvilinear earthwork bank, circa 3 metres in width, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014 and on aerial photographs taken from 2002 onwards. It fits into the field pattern, in an area characterised as based on medieval strip fields. It is interpreted as a relict field boundary of medieval origin that, as it is not depicted on the available historic mapping, fell out of use prior to the mid-19th century.
