An extraction pit of likely post-medieval to 19th century date is visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, to the northeast of Allecombe Farm. The irregular shaped earthwork measures approximately 72m in length by 65m in width and is located within the southwest corner of a field, the boundaries of which partly respect the earthwork. The extraction pit remains visible on aerial photographs of 1996.
