Parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 4 metres in width, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. Their broadly cross-contour orientation is indicative of tree planting banks that were common in orchards of post-medieval or 19th century date. This area is depicted as orchard on the Tithe map and early-20th century OS map, and trees were still visible on the modern available aerial imagery, indicating that it may survive in use as an orchard.
