Two curvilinear earthwork banks, up to circa 10 metres in width, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014 and partly on aerial photographs taken from 1996. They manifest in the same way as nearby earthworks that correspond to field boundaries depicted on historic maps. They are located in an area characterised as enclosures of medieval origin and interpreted as the relict remains of medieval field boundaries that fell out of use by the mid-19th century. They were not identified from many aerial photographs and are likely to be shallow features, perhaps spread by ploughing and difficult to identify visually on the ground.
