Cropmarks which have formed over infilled ditches of a possible medieval to 19th century field boundary are visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2002, to the northeast of Westown. The parallel cropmarks are northwest to southeast aligned, are sited on gentle northeast facing slope and appear to represent two flanking field boundary ditches of a removed field boundary. The boundary is not depicted on the Parish Tithe map of approximately 1838-48, so appears to have passed out of use by this time. The cropmarks are not visible on other aerial photographs or digital images made available to the survey.
