Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.
The early 20th century historic map shows the reservoir has not yet been completed; 'Water Works in course of construction' are noted, as well as the dam at the north-eastern end.

No features or dating evidence was found to indicate prehistoric or significant later activity within the site.
