A curvilinear earthwork bank, circa 2 metres in width, is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1982 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. It fits into the field pattern, in an area characterised as based on medieval strip fields and is interpreted as a relict field boundary of medieval origin. It is not depicted on the available historic mapping, and presumably fell out of use prior to the mid-19th century.
