A curvilinear earthwork ditch, less than 2 metres in width, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014 and on aerial photographs taken from 1996 onwards. It runs broadly but somewhat irregularly along the contour, and widens in the middle. It is possible that this is the field gutter of a simple catchmeadow system of post-medieval or 19th century date perhaps taking water from a hedgerow ditch at ST28442102133. If so, it seems to have been altered as the centre part appears to widen and the orientation is not all gently downslope, so this interpretation is very tentative. It is not depicted on any of the historic mapping and may pre-date the late-19th century. A very straight and wide earthwork ditch is visible circa 35-65 metres to the north-east; this runs cross-contour and would not function as a catch meadow field gutter, and it has not been transcribed.
