Cropmarks which have formed over banks of possible former medieval field boundaries are visible on aerial photographs of 1950, to the southwest of Dalwood Farm. The two curvilinear cropmarks closely respect the historic field patterns depicted on the Parish Tithe map of approximately 1838-48 and which have been recorded as ‘Medieval enclosures based on strip fields’ during the Historic Landscape Characterisation project. The boundaries appear to have passed out of use by this time. The cropmarks were, however, fairly poorly defined and it is possible they are the result of modern agricultural activity. They are not visible on other aerial photographs made available to the survey.
