Several curvilinear earthwork banks and ditches, between 4 and 6 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken from 2000 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. Two segments appear to be contiguous but manifest in different ways, one as a wide bank and the other as a slightly narrower ditch. The ditched feature may be the remains of a trackway, perhaps one that followed a field boundary, and this starts and ends at two pronounced changes of direction of extant field boundaries depicted on the Tithe map. Of the two banks to the east, one partly corresponds to boundaries depicted on the historic mapping. The field pattern has been characterised as medieval and post-medieval enclosures, and the irregular layout suggests that at least those on the west had a medieval origin.
