Former field boundaries of between medieval to post-medieval date are visible as earthwork banks and a ditch on infra-red digital images of 2014 and lidar derived images captured in 2016, to the south of Hemyock. The linear and curvilinear earthworks are northeast to southwest and east to west aligned. Two of the earthworks appear to correspond to field boundaries depicted on the Parish Tithe map, whilst the remaining earthworks had evidently passed out of use by this time. Aerial photographs of 1947 show the field boundary which is visible as an earthwork ditch is extant, although this boundary has since been completely removed. The boundaries may in part be of medieval date.
