A possible extraction pit of between post-medieval to 19th century date is visible as an earthwork pit on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the north of Windsor Farm. The earthwork is irregular in shape and measures approximately 55m in length by 16m in width. A structure is depicted here within a small land parcel on the Parish Tithe map, although it is unclear whether this pre-dates or post-dates the possible extraction pit. The earthworks should, however, be viewed with some caution, their location at the head of a stream suggesting they may also be the result of natural processes. The earthworks were not clearly visible on aerial photographs or other digital images made available to the survey.
