An ‘Old gravel pit’ is depicted in close proximity to the northwest.

A possible gravel pit of between post-medieval to 19th century date is visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, to the east of Park Farm. The earthwork is oval in shape and measures approximately 71m in length by 41m in width and is situated in close proximity to a gravel pit depicted on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s. It remains visible on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016.
