A possible field boundary of probable post-medieval to 19th century date is visible as an earthwork ditch on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, to the northwest of Foxhill Farm. The earthwork is L-shaped in plan, northeast to southwest and northwest to southeast aligned, with a fairly sharp angular corner. It appears to correspond to boundaries depicted here on the Parish Tithe map of approximately 1838-48, although had evidently passed out of use by this time. The boundary may have defined the extent of a small land parcel, for a possible orchard for example. The earthwork remains visible on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016.
