Four broadleaf trees are depicted in this location.

An earthwork pit measuring circa 14 by 48 metres is visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. It is likely to be a post-medieval or early modern extraction pit, although it is not clear in this instance what material was being extracted. It is not depicted on the available historic mapping, but four broadleaf trees are depicted in this location on the first edition OS mapping, so it seems the pit had been long-disused by the late-19th century.
