Possible former field boundaries of likely post-medieval to 19th century date are visible as earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards, to the northwest of Westlands Farm. The earthworks comprise a single linear northwest to southeast aligned bank, with two curvilinear banks to the south of this. These curvilinear banks may be associated with the northern field boundary which defines Westland Copse, to the immediate east. The possible field boundaries are not depicted on the Parish Tithe map, so had evidently passed out of use by this time. They are visible as earthwork banks on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016.
