The linear earthworks are northeast to southwest and northwest to southeast aligned, occupy an area of approximately 3.30 hectares and are situated on moderate northeast facing slope. The Parish Tithe map is incomplete here, although the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of between the 1880’s-90’s shows that the field boundaries have all passed out of use by this time.
