Numerous curvilinear earthwork banks and ditches, circa 2 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. Some of these correspond to field boundaries depicted on 19th century mapping, although only those that are not depicted on historic mapping have been transcribed. Several of the ditches superficially resemble the field gutters of catchmeadows, but their alignment means they would not function as a typical water management system.
