Field called Round Close on Tithe Map/Tithe Apportionment (Tithe Apportionment No.1484) with Round Close Orchard adjacent to north (Tithe Apportionment No. 1485, SY 1633 9824). 'Round' names sometimes refer to circular/sub-circular fields which can reflect underlying enclosures of prehistoric date. No circular field boundaries in this area on the modern map.
