Old Marl Pits are depicted.

The pits are visible as earthwork depressions.

Two earthwork depressions are visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The western earthwork is circa 40m by 35m and the eastern earthwork is circa 25m by 15m. They correspond with old marl pits depicted on the First Edition OS map and interpreted as being of post-medieval to 19th century origin, that ceased extraction by the end of the 19th century.
