A curvilinear earthwork bank, up to 4.5 metres in width, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. It is possible that it is of geological origin, but at its eastern end it appears to terminate at the junction of two extant boundaries depicted on 19th century mapping and is more likely to be the relict boundary of a medieval or post-medieval field.
