The linear field boundary is northwest to southeast aligned and generally respects the historic field patterns depicted here on the Parish Tithe map of 1838-48, although the field boundary appears to have passed out of use by this time. The field boundary remains visible as an earthwork ditch on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016.
